Exhale your stress and inhale the reciprocal relationship of health we share with trees. Come and explore the healing power of Forest Bathing through Tai Chi with guest facilitator, LinDel Sandlin.
Certified by Grandmaster Mantak Chai in the Universal Healing Tao system, LinDel has been a Qigong & Tai Chi instructor for 12+ years and practicing for over 30 years.
Connect with the benefits of increased relaxation and greater mental clarity when spending time in nature. Tai chi is often described as "meditation in motion," but it might well be called "medication in motion." There is growing evidence that this mind-body practice, which originated in China, has value in treating or preventing many health problems. And you can get started even if you aren't in top shape or the best of health.
In this low-impact, slow-motion exercise, you go without pausing through a series of motions named for animal actions. Tai chi can be easily adapted for anyone, from the most fit to people confined to wheelchairs or recovering from surgery. Leave behind feelings of fight or flight and return to a state where your parasympathetic system is dominant and you feel more at ease. Let the Forest reset your nervous system. Leave your Forest Bathing experience with increased gratitude, selflessness, and wonder. Just what the Doctor ordered!
