2025 Forest Bathing Series: Bathing in Gratitude

  • Nina Mason Pulliam Eco Lab at Marian Unversity 3200 Cold Spring Road Indianapolis, IN, 46222 United States (map)

Spend the morning giving Mother Earth a gift and taking in the benefits of nature and giving a thank-you back. Nature mulches and changes things and it is a reminder that we all eventually go back to the Earth and life is constantly changing.

During this Forest Bathing adventure, we will create Earth Art as a “reciprocity practice”. We will offer our art creations to the forest with gratitude for all the gifts we receive during our encounter with nature. The Earth Art will consist of items we find in the woods such as stones, pinecones, leaves, and sticks. We will close our Earth Art experience with a tea ceremony.

“We often forget that we are nature. Nature is not something separate from us. So, when we say that we have lost our connection to nature, we’ve lost our connection to ourselves.” – Andy Goldsworthy
